This page enables you to make changes to the general settings of Incentive.
The options available are listed below:
- Company name
If entered, all pages will display the company name as part of the html title. For instance, by specifing "My company" all titles on all pages will end with this wording. E.g. Wiki Central | My company. - Enable mail
Defines if Incentive should be configured to send mails or not. In order for the mail notification to function this setting must be turned on. Read more about notfications and Incentive Job Manager. - Force tags
When set to yes all applicable content (wikis, articles and posts) cannot be saved before at least one tag is specified. - Force change description
When set to yes all changes to applicable content (wikis, articles and posts) are required to contain a change description. - Converting of disallowed characters in unique name
Two strings separated by semicolon used to convert characters in the friendly title of pages. The first string contains characters separated by commas that will be replaced with characters at the same position in the second string. Normally there are no reasons for changing this setting. - Disallowed tag character
A list of the characters that are to be removed from tags. - Allow description on pages
When set to yes it is possible to enter a description of the article or blog post. - Allow comments on articles and blog postings
Defines if it should be possible to comment articles or blog postings. When set to no this setting supersedes the setting available on the properties page for articles and blogs. - Avoid spam comments
Enable if there is need for captcha like behaviour to hinder spam robots from posting comments. When active all new comments are checked.
Consider activating this function if Incentive is configured as a publicly reachably application. - Enable sending of error reports
Turn on to enable users to send error reports directly to Mindroute.
