The functions available to you can vary depending on which access rights you have on the current article. Below is a rundown of all available functions, grouped by menu.
Most functions are accessible using hotkeys. These are always prefixed by ctrl+shift and are displayed to the right on each menu item row.
Use this menu to create new articles, blogs etc. The menu is visible if you have create permission to the current article.
The last menu item "Customize create menu" is used to define which items that are possible to create below this article. It can also define which custom pages should be available here.
To create a new item click on the appropriate item in the menu.
If you have permission to modify or delete the current article this menu is visible.
- Edit this article
Select this option to go into edit mode for this article. Read about how to edit an article.
- Edit tags
Puts you into edit mode for tags. Read more about editing tags.
- Set permission
Change access permissions for this article by selecting this menu item. Read about permissions and editing permissions.
Allows you to move or copy the current article.
- Sort articles
Select this menu item in order to sort the content items below this article.
- Delete this article
This option deletes the article and places it in the recycle bin.
Depending on various settings different items may be available to you.
Select this item to view the properties for the article. This includes information such as number of views, which user created and modifed the article, its unique name, settings for comments and files and all revisions.
If the article contains sub items these are shown here. By clicking on the menu item you will be taken to the sub articles list.
If the article has any comments this menu item will be available. Click it to go to the comment section of the article.
If any files are present the item will be displayed. Click to go to the files section.
